Individual and Family Health Insurance

Emploer -Sponsored Healthy In surance

With employer-sponsored coverage, the employer may pay part of the employee's premium while the employee contributes the remainder, usually through payroll deductions. Benefits may include medical services, preventive care, prescription drugs, hospitalization, specialist visits and emergency c are.

HMO- Health Maintenance Organization

HMO plans generally requires members to receive care from doc tors and healthcare providers within the plan's network, except for certain situations such as emergencies. Many HMOs emphasize coordinated care and may require you to select a primary care provider and obtain referrals for certain specialists. HMO is best suited for people who prefer coordinated care and don't mind using a defined provider network.

EPO- Exclusive Provider Organization

An EPO generally covers services only from providers within the plan's network, except in emergencies. EPO may not require referrals to see specialists. IT's best suited for people who want a network-based plan but prefer direct access to specialists.

PPO- Preferred Provider Organization

A PPO generally gives more flexibility when choosing healthcare providers. You can typically receive care from both in-network and out-of-network providers, although using providers within the network usually costs less. Best suited for people who value flexibility when choosing doctors and specialists.

POS- Point of Service

A POS plan combines features of HMO and PPO plans. You'll generally pay less when using in-network providers, while out-of-network care may still be available. Best suited for people who want coordinated care but some additional provider flexibility.
